Monday 9th April

     a.. On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met and transferred to the
Balalaika Hotel.
Tuesday 10th April

    a.. The tour coach will depart from your hotel at 9H00 for the trip to
Pietersburg for an overnight stops at Landmark Lodge.
Wednesday 11th April

    a.. At 9H30 the coach will take you on a tour of the sights on your
way to the Kruger National Park. Overnight stay at Olifants camp.
Thursday 12th and Friday 13th April

    a.. The coach will leave at 06H00 on a game viewing drive each day.
This is reputably the best time for game viewing. Breakfast will be served
at a campsite restaurant at approximately 8H30 to 9H00. Game viewing and
bird watching will continue for the remainder of the morning, making our
way to the next camp at Satara for lunch and a rest. The coach will leave
again at 15H30 for the afternoon game search, returning to camp at 18H00.
Dinner will be served in the camp restaurant, and for those interested,
the game officer arranges night drives.
Saturday 14th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H30 for a tour of Pilgrims Rest, the
Blyde River Canyon and through Long Tom Pass to Lydenburg, where you will
stay overnight at Morgan's Hotel.
Sunday 15th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H00 for your return to the city of gold
via Pretoria and on to the Balalaika Hotel for an evening of rest.
Monday 16th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H00 for a day tour of Sun City. This is
a spectacular resort built in the crater of a volcano. You will return via
Rustenburg to the Balalaika for an evening of rest.
Tuesday 17th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H00 for a tour of Soweto, where you may
wish to visit a "Shebeen" (true African pup) for lunch, prior to
proceeding to Johannesburg International airport for your late afternoon
flight to Durban. On arrival you will be transported to the Edward Hotel
on the beachfront.
Wednesday 18th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H00 for a tour of the Kwa Zulu Natal
South Coast, passing through Port Shepstone on the way to the Wild Coast
Casino. The return journey meanders along the magnificent coastal road to
the Edward. Hotel.
Thursday 19th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H00 for a tour of Zululand, where you
will visit the original home of Shaka, King of the Zulu, and enjoy an
overnight stay at Skakaland in a traditional Zulu thatched Kraal. You will
be welcomed by the local chief, refreshed with some home brewed beer, Zulu
dancing maidens, and then retire for a well deserved rest.
Friday 20th April

    a.. After breakfast, you will be treated to a quick discussion with
the local Zulu's on how Shaka made his battle plans, how the Zulu set up
their villages, and a spear throwing show. All this before 11H00 when the
coach will transport you back to Ulindi, the capital (in waiting) of Kwa
Zulu Natal. You will board a late afternoon flight to Port Elizabeth,
where you will be met and transported to the Marine Hotel on the

    a.. At 09H00 the coach will depart for a tour of Port Elizabeth and on
to the Addo Elephant Park, returning at approximately 17H30 to the Marine
Sunday 22nd April

    a.. The coach will depart at 9H30 for a most spectacular drive along
the "Garden Route" over the Storms River Bridge, through the Tsitsikama
National Park and Plettenberg Bay to beautiful Knysna, where you will
overnight at the Knysna Quays Hotel.
Monday 23rd April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H00 through the mountain passes on
route to Oudtshoorn, where you will stay at the Riempie Estate Hotel. If
time permits you will visit an ostrich farm.
Tuesday 24th April

    a.. At 09H00 the coach will depart for the Cango Caves. These world
famous caves never fail to impress with their absolute grandeur no matter
how often you visit them. Then on to Mossel Bay where you will stay at the
Santos Beach Hotel.
Wednesday 25th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H30 for the final leg of the tour to
Cape Town. You will travel through the historic villages of Riversdale,
Swellendam and Caledon and finally onto Bantry Bay and the President
Thursday 26th April

    a.. The coach will depart at 09H00 for a tour of Cape Point, the
spectacular meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Enjoy the
view of False Bay and our beautiful Fauna and Flora. Return to the
President Hotel. Registration is at the President from 14H00 to 18H00.
    b.. Meet your fellow 41ers for dinner and enjoy a South African
spit-braai on the terrace.
Friday 27th April

    a.. Breakfast on the terrace. Coach will depart at 09H00 for a tour of
the legendary Cape wine farms. Return to Cape Town at 16H00; join us for a
trip up the cable car with Table Mountain Rotair for a spectacular view
and sundowners.
    b.. Catch your breath and join us for dinner enjoying traditional Cape
Malay cuisine and entertainment at the President.
Saturday 28th April

    a.. Breakfast on the terrace from 07H00. Banner exchange from 08H30.
While the men attend the 10H00 international meeting, ladies have the
option of either catching s shuttle to the V & A Waterfront to shop at
leisure or alternatively enjoy the facilities of the President Hotel. Meet
with your partner at the V&A Waterfront and enjoy lunch at a restaurant of
your choice. Return to the President and relax and prepare for the formal
President's banquet at 10H30 for 20H00.
Sunday 29th April

    a.. A farewell champagne breakfast on the terrace. Those wishing to
visit Robben Island will be accommodated. The evening is free for final
Monday 30th April

Arrangements will be made to transport you to Cape Town airport for your
departure from South Africa,
